Based on the welding apparatus's working principle, numerical control system and the welding process request in the factory, a special numerical control spot welding apparatus was manufactured. This numerical control spot welder proper attention to both efficiency and the usable principle, carries on the machine part take a simple planer-type milling machine as the foundation the improvement design; Designs in the numerical control system hardware in the foundation, for develops the platform using the Simens numerical control system, take the object-oriented programming technology as the method, studied and designs the numerical control spot welder numerical control system. The dissertation matter as followed:(1) The basal welding process and welding method is introduced, and analyze the development of NC welding and welding automatism in the world;(2) Based on the welding process request of the motorcar parts, the working principle and system structure of the special NC spot welding apparatus is analyzed;(3) Mechanism of the spot welding apparatus is devised, and relevant performer element is selected;(4) The control system of the NC spot welding apparatus is designed, basing on the common control system of the spot welding apparatus;(5) The experimental research on the NC spot welding apparatus is operated.The experiment results show that the special NC spot welding apparatus not only can fill for the welding process request but also enhance the production efficiency and the machining quality.
