Since 1990s,modern near infrared spectroscopy technique(NIRS) has been the fastest developing and most notable spectroscopy analysis technique.NIRS is the organic integration of spectroscopy technique and chemometrics, and is known as the giant of the analysis. It provides high speed, high efficiency and non-destructive analysis.NIRS involves spectroscopy sampling and analyzing the constituents' content of samples by establishing calibration model between the spectroscopy and constituents' content.Until now,the internal near infrared spectrometer is used in spectroscopy sampling only. And the spectrometer requires an external computer to establishing calibration model. Therefore,a new designed which disengage the establishing calibration model function from external computer is given in this paper. The spectrometer is miniaturized, portable and simplified. Also the design takes on innovation and significance.A design of near infrared spectrometer base on the ARM embedded processor is introduced in this paper, and the scheme of software and hardware are given.Three principle functions are achieved by using the most advanced ARM embedded technique and making use of the storage module device and abundant external interface resources of ARM processor.Firstly the spectrum data sample and transmission is done;secondly a multivariate linear regression(MLR) algorithm is used to perform the calibration;thirdly the touch screen graphical user interface(GUI) base on the migration of QT embedded software is carried out.
