There are lots of chemical substances of low molecular weight in plastic packaging materials, which may migrate into food when they are in contact,and some of these substances would lead to food contamination and finally endanger consumers' health.Comparing with overseas, there are a few investigation and literature about migration in our country.Therefore,it is necessary that develop the theoretics and the testing researches on food packaging materials safety and constitute some corresponding decree and code.High-density polyethylene(HDPE) film which contains only one additive named Irganox 1076 was devised and manufactured by Research Group.Using hexane,isooctane and 95% ethanol as fatty food simulants,ethanol-water solution of different concentration as alcohol food simulants,and 3%acetic acid as acid food simulants,migration test was developed under different temperature.Migrants of 1076 in simulants which come from HDPE film was analyzed by HPLC quantitatively.Further more,the effect of migration by pH has been researched.Experimentation and theoretics Diffusibility coefficient were calculated by sofeware MatLab 6.5 edition.Comparing with actual migration test,adopt Monolayer Universal Model to forecast the rule of migration by MatLab 6.5 software.Using the actual migration test data,Equilibrium partition coefficient(KP,F) and Dynamic partition coefficient(Kt) have been calculated.The main results were as follows:(1) Diffusion kinetics process and influence partition equilibrium were mainly determined by temperature.The higher temperature,the faster migration rate and less time needed to reach equilibrium.And low temperature maybe postpone migration,so refrigeration can prolong shelf life.(2) Different food stimulants have different effects on migration,and 95%ethanol seems the best fatty food stimulant during migration test. (3) And diverse pH value seem have no effect on migration of 1076.(4) Consequently,Fatty food and low concentration alcohol food cannot be packaged by HDPE film which contains 1076.But it is safe to packing with acid food(pH≤4.5).(5) Experimentation Diffusibility coefficient was effected both by temperature and food simulants.And it validates that LogDp and 1/T are linearity relationship as the same as literatures overseas.(6) It shows that Model reflects on the actual migration test data basically.But it is necessary to modify the Model by discussing the parameters which include the changes of temperature,food stimulant types and partition coefficient etc.,when studying the migration of 1076.(7) Researching on the equilibrium partition coefficient(KP,F) and dynamical partition coefficient(Kt),it demonstrates that higher temperature can accelerate 1076 distributing into food simulants and arriving at migration equilibrium.What is more,diffent food stimulants have some effects on KP,F and Kt diffently.
