Research On The Preparation Craft And Performance Of Porous Ceramics Material

It is studied the preparation of porous ceramics in this paper.The Al₂O₃ powder is added to wollastonite or cordierite,and polymeric sponge is dipped into slurry,after that porous ceramics is produced by sintering.Through experiments,it is proved that the porous ceramics have sufficient porosity and strength.The experimental results show that different components correspond to different parameters.It is summarized the best agglutination craft as follows:regarding to wollastonite porous ceramic,when alumina powder(coarse size) accounts for 30%,appropriate craft is 1590℃for 60 minutes;when Al₂O₃ powder(500nm) accounts for 70%,appropriate craft is 1620℃for 60 minutes;For porous ceramic added cordierite powder,when Al₂O₃ powder(500nm) accounts for 60%, its appropriate craft 1650℃for 60 minutes;And adopting grain collocation,the best craft is 1600℃for 60 minutes.The microstructure of ceramics was observed in SEM.It was founded that the skeleton connected with each other in three-dimensional;the holes are similar to circle; diameter of porous ceramic is between 0.5～5mm,and the diameter of ceramic skeleton is between 0.15～0.8mm;the sectionis compact and even.Experiments of strength and thermal shock resistance show that,strength of porous ceremic added cordierite is much higher than which added wollastonite;the ceremic adopted grain collocation is strong.Which could be applied in filtering of melt liquid.It is analyzed effect of all the crafts on ceremic properties.Results show that bubble solution concentrations in the range of 10%to 20%between the pre-soaking time 6～10h,which could get good performance porous ceramic material.For sponge of big aperture,dipping once or txice is both well;but the small ones shoud be dipped only once.For every composition,there will be a corresponding craft.In summary,the best craft parameter has been reseached,and good porous ceremics for filtering melt liquid.are preparated.
