Titanium dioxide is a good material which has the fine chemical stability ,the thermostability, the good anti-mechanical property, the good corrosionresistance performance ,the outstanding illumination performance, lowcharacteristics poisonous ,low cost and so on. Especially nanocrystallinetitanium dioxide, as a wide forbidden band semiconducting material, which hasthe outstanding photochemical catalysis performance and good electro-opticaltransformation ability. The choice titanium dioxide takes the matrix, dopingrare earth ion luminescent material by frequent application in each kind ofhigh tech domain, has received the widespread value to its research. Alongwith luminescent material's unceasing development, based on the luminescentmaterial related research, the manufacture and the application also graduallyemerges, the rare earth luminescent material may widely apply in theillumination, the demonstration, the light information transmission, thesolar energy electro-optic transforms, X-ray phantom, laser, scintillator andso on. Under the ultraviolet ray stimulation, the rare earth Tb3+ can send outthe green light perfect, as well as taking the titanium dioxide as in matrixmaterial's foundation, it can be used in many fields.The present paper altogether divides into five chapters. The first chapteris the introduction part,which introduced the nanometer titanium dioxideperformance and the application as well as the luminescent material historicaldevelopment and the present situation simply, Has carried on the conciseelaboration to the rare earth spectra nature as well as the solid illuminationprocess and the energy transfer principle, summarized the nanometer titaniumdioxide preparation method, proposed the present paper topic primary coverageand the significance finally.The second chapter introduced the hydro-thermal method preparation nanometer titanium dioxide's method and the flow, and have analyzed thehydro-thermal method preparation titanium dioxide powder's principle ofdynamics, through to its principle of dynamics's analysis, has studied variouscomponents allocated proportion to the solution configuration influence,obtained the hydro-thermal method preparation nanometer titanium dioxide bestallocated proportion scope: H2O/ Ti(OC4H9)4 best scope between 1~4; C2H5OH/Ti(OC4H9)4 best scope on 3:1~10: 1; the pH value's best scope about 4, andunified the experimental condition and experiments many times, has determinedthe best experiment allocated proportion plan.The third chapter has carried on a series of attributes to the TiO2 powder,like XRD, IR, TEM and so on, and has analyzed the sample structural featurebased on this, namely TiO2 is the anatase, the average grading approximatelyis about 10nm.The fourth chapter has studied the water hot process preparation pure TiO2powder body and the doping has different molar density Tb3+ with TiO2 powderbody's PLE, the PL spectra, had determined the doping has Tb3+ with TiO2 thepowder body's PL spectra stimulation wave length forλex=229nm, haddiscovered through the PL spectra the doping has the Tb3+ with TiO2 powder body'sluminous intensity to assume the regular change, and had determined the optimumresponse temperature for 125℃, the optimum response time is 72h, a Tb3+ bestdoping molar density is 12%, when an its doping molar density is bigger than12% will have the density quenching; Has Tb3+ with TiO2 to the doping the powderbody's PL spectra to carry on the concrete study, and explained in its PLspectra each main launch peak produces the reason, and has carried on theinquisition to its illumination mechanism.The fifth chapter to summarize the part, the induction summarized the presentpaper research significance and the primary coverage, and summarized theconclusion which the present paper obtains.This article has prepared the doping rare earth Tb3+ with TiO2 powdersuccessful .Through the hydro-thermal method, and obtained the Tb3+ characteristic launch peak, this to following dopes other rare earth ionperhaps the codoping rare earth ion research through the hydro-thermal methodhas the important reference significance.
