Abstract/Summary:
As a complicated multidentate ligand, theβ-diketone ligands and their derivatives have played a significant role in the realm of modern coordination chemistry, crystal engineering, supramolecular chemistry and biomedicine. Some of the complexes withβ-diketone derive ligands, which potential applicated in optical, electricity, magnetism, absorption, catalysis, ion exchange, gas storage and so forth. Transition metal Pyrazolyl ligands have attracted considerable attention as in catalysis, magnetic coupling, biological mimicry, electron transfer, optic-physics area because of pyrazolyl ligands have luxuriant self-assembly chemistry and as a kind of multifunctional organic ligand. In this paper, on the basis of predecessor research,β-diketone derivative ligand, Pyrazolyl ligand and their eight transition metal complexes were synthesized. It reads as follows:We use the 2,6-pyridinecarboxylic acid as the raw material, design and synthesis two ligands: 2-(3-oxo-3-thiophenel)-6-pyridinecarboxylic acid N-oxide (H2L1). and the bipyrazole ligand 2,6-bis-[3-(thiophenel)-5-(1-H-pyrazoldinyl)] pyridine (H2L2).All compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, UV-vis, elemental analyses and the crystal structures of them were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. And their structures were discussed.Base on the conventional solvent synthetic method, A new family of dinuclear transition-metal complexes with H2L1 were synthesized: [Mn2(L1)2py4]·(py)(1), [Fe2(L1)2Cl2(CH3OH)2](2), [Ni2(L1)2py4]·(DMF)(3), [Cu2(L1)2(DMF)2]·(DMF)(4),[Zn2(L1)2py4]·(py) (5), (py: pyridine, DMF:N,N-dimethylformamide), we studied the thermal property of complex (1), the UV-Vis propery of complexes (1), (3) and (4). Synthesized three transition-metal complexes with H2L2 : [Zn(H2L2)(Cl)2]·2(DMF) (6), [Zn2(HL2)2(AcO)]·(AcO)·(DMF) (7), [Zn2(HL2)2(SO4)]·(H2L2)·(DMF)·(3H2O) (8), (DMF: N,N-dimethylformamide, AcO:CH3COOH). Among of them, complex (6) is mononuclear; complexes (7) and (8) are dinuclear. The fluorescent behavior of complexes (6), (7), (8) and the thermal property of complex (6) were also investigated and discussed in this paper.
