A Study On Risk Management Of Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Industry (PEMI)is one of major business sections in China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC). PEMI is a special industry which includes a large amount of work types, working procedure, and continuous production process. These factors lead to many dangerous elements. The dissertation research on risk elements in production process, installation and trial run of PEMI, apply risk management theory into practice, take advantage of risk identification to trace the potential accidents of PEMI. There are a lot of dangerous elements in the working procedure, if they can not be kept away, accidents would happen to hurt the operators and cause a huge loss of national properties. Also, the corporate image will get undermined and slow down the business development. Therefore, PEMI should put an emphasis on the risk management. The contents of text research are shown below:1. Introduction to risk management from all aspects. It includes risk theory, risk management development, how to build a risk management model etc.2. Take risk identification to PEMI. Analyze the risk elements of petroleum equipment manufacturing, list the usual accidents of PEMI, and research on typical technics in production process. Select a proper identification method for petroleum machining risk, identify hazard in machine processing site, according to the sort of hazard, distribution range of hazard and injury mode.3. Lead risk analysis on hazard in PEMI. Analyze hazard in petroleum machine processing from 4 aspects—human, machine, environment and management. Summarize identification method of petroleum machine processing risk. Recommend LEC evaluation method to assess the hazard in petroleum processing site.4. Discussion on how to control risk in PEMI. It includes risk control principle, risk control method and risk response measures. In the end, suggestion is given on how to carry out risk management in PEMI.
