Study On Safety Performance Evaluation Of Underground Gold Mine Enterprise

Mining industry is the basis of the other industries, which is very important to our economy. In the mining industry of our country, metal mining is a significant aspect. At resent years, the number of accidents per year in the metal industry was less than the one in the road and the coal mining industry. And the underground gold mining becomes the point because of its special work environment.The article aimed at the study on safety performance of the underground gold mining enterprise with the 5W1H(Why,What,How,Who,Where,When)method. Firstly, the importance of the safety performance was listed. Secondly, 6 dominating and 26 subordinate safety performance indicators were gained based on the summary and analysis on the foreign documents and the theory. Next, the evaluation method that combined the Improved Analytic Hierarchy Process with the indicator check list was decided. Finally, we got the evaluation result after the enforcement of the safety performance evaluation system.And we figure out the problems about the safety management acoording to the result of the safety performance evaluation activity. Based on the evaluation data, the company relied on the support from the leaders too much and ignored others aspects. Meantime, based on the indicator check list data, we could find that the degree that the company fulfilled the safety policy still needed to be strengthened. In the safety education,support from the top leaders and the risk management aspects, the company should regulate the safety strategy and enhance the safety execution.The safety performance evaluation system can do some help to the company. It makes the company know the safety management situation and then figure out the problems. So, safety performance evaluation system is a very useful tool to the safety management.
