Nanomaterials have attracted considerable attention due to their unique properties and superior application prospects. Because of its low cost and easily controlling, hydrothermal method has become one of important ways to synthesize different kinds of nanomaterials. Surfactant, because of its template function, plays an important role in controlling the size and morphology of nanomaterials. In this article, based on this method, we used surfactants, such as cetyltrimethyammonium bromide (CTAB),polythyene glycol 10000 (PEG), terpineol, and nanorods as templates, have successfully gained sulfureted manganese, indium hydroxide and sulfureted zincum nanomaterials with different morphology. Then, they were characterized by field emission scan electron microscope (FE-SEM), transmission electron mcroscope (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. The concrete content is as follows:1. Take vesicles formed by terpineol in water as template and L-cysteine as the souce of sulfur ion, we have successfully achieved sulfureted manganese nanospheres by hydrothermal method, which are formed by self-assembly of sulfureted manganese irregular nanocones。The result of electron microscopy indicates that the length of nanocones is about 200~300nm, the diameter of rough side is ahout 100nm, and diameter of spheres formed by nannocones is approximately 5μm. By changing the conditions for sythesis, its morphology has obvious changes. At last, we have dicussed its form mechanism by the contrast of experiments.2. Based on hydrothermal system and ethanol-water reaction system which take Cetyltrimethyammonium Bromide (CTAB) as templates, we have prepared indium hydroxide nanorods and nanocubes, respectively. The result of characterization indicates that they both have good dispersibility, the length of nanorods is about 700nm and the diameter is about 100~200nm, the length of nanocubes is about 50~70nm. Based on it, we also gained indium oxide nanorods and nanopaticles by thermal-decompose.3. Taked polythyene glycol 10000 as template and alkaline zinc carbonate as fore-reactant, we have prepared zinc oxide nanorods by hydrothermal method. Then taked it into sulfureted natrium solution as hard template, we have gained the yellow nanomaterials by hydrothermal method. Furtherly treated it with alkali, we have successfully gained sulfureted zincum nanotubes, which outer diameter is about 1μm , inside diameter is about 500nm and thickness is about 200nm.
