The thesis aims to develop a new-style automatic hot billet Marking Equipment which bases on the controling of PLC. This machine is expected to improve the insufficiency of using manual stamping, which leads to low efficiency and high labor intensity in most of billets production companies. Applied advanced mechanical design technology, servo-control technology, pneumatic control technology and computer control technology, the machine has advantages of effective utilization, high position precision, rapid response, and superior controllability. The thesis has the following six chapters.In the first chapter, it gives a brief introduction of the function and the related technology of hot billet stamping machine, by analyzing the domestic and foreign products. It points out the origin of this project and summarizes main tasks of the thesis.In the second chapter, it deals with the overall structure of the Hot Billet Marking Equipment, its working principle, performance index and composition. The function and the construction of the mechanical system are discussed, in which the mechanical optimal design is applied in the parts design.it also discusses the controling system and introduces the controling way of LUST servo simply.In the third chapter, it discusses the theory of stress-foucs and finite-element method first of all,and then it uses a software of ANSYS to analyse the distributing of stress.In the end ,it optimizes the structure of word, and uses ANSYS to analyse the structure and stress.In the fourth chapter, it firstly brings forward Technical requirements of the Impact of the cylinder.Then discuss the structure of the Impact of the cylinder and point the different between the Impact of the cylinder and normal of the cylinder.it also gives out the Theoretical calculations and design.At last,through the practice using, it Optimals the structure and discusses the Actual using.In the fifth chapter, it works out the design specification for control programs, including the PLC program and the monitor program. It particularly explains the prinple and function of PLC program and monitor program.Then it discusses the communicate software of PLC program.In the last chapter, it involves the conclusion for the thesis and the prospects for the hot billet stamping machine.
