| Coarse-grained of Austenic steel and their welds are widely regarded as difficult to inspect by ultrasonic testing. The occurrence of severe attenuation leads to low SNR(singnal to noise ratios) and low defects detection rate. Coarse-grained will also cause severely spread of wave and structure noise, Anisotropy of welds cause wave curve, leads to position error enlarge, because above mentioned difficulty, research a kind of ultrasonic testing technique for Austenic steel welds. Satisfied exeamination requset, enhance exeamination ability of the defect is very necessary.In this paper, based on analyzing the research status of the international and domestic, we mainly research narrow-pulse probe, hope to provide a beneficial help for ultrasonic testing . Mainly carried on following work: Finished research of narrow-pulse-longitude-wave-angle-probe by using high impedance backing composites and circuit matching, The research of axicon-focus-probe, Testing in Austenic imitate artificial defect.The analysis and testing results show that we can obtain ideal narrow-pulse-longitude-wave-angle-probe by using high impedance backing composites and circuit matching. Glycerin lens better than luminum lens, expriment showsβ=6°, glycerin lens attain the best focuse effect, by the testing in Austenic steel welds imitate the artificial defect. SNR of focus probe and narrow-pulse-longitude-wave-angle-probe is remarkly better than traserse wave probe. Reduced the noise interfere of in ultrasonic testing for Austenic steel and their welds. The researchful narrow-pulse-longitude-wave-angle-probe by ourselves compars with the alike national product index basic equal, the focus probe compars with the alike national product slightly bad than the latter, but, it can satisfied for testing request. As is show by practice that researchful probe have favorable production application value, empolder forground is good. |
