For the high yield and stable yiele for oil-field, as well as the resolution to the conflict between supply and demand, research and development of polymer flooding have been more and more widely in home and abroad. The portion of area and oil layer for polymer flooding will keep on an increase according to future programming of Daqing oil-field. Polymer flooding has more and more important effect on the continuable development of Daqing oil-field.The study of residual oil distribution for polymer flooding reservoirs is important to make fully use of the residual oil potential, to enhance oil recovery further, and to direct the succeeding exploitation of areas for polymer flooding reservoirs since all those measures, such as potential using, APS compound flooding, multiple foam flooding, microbial flooding and surfactant flooding need to predict remaining oil well and truly.Based on the investigation, applicability of method for remaining oil prediction in water flooding reservoirs has been analyzed and summarized. Based on theφ-function method of water flooding reservoirs, takes the adsorption and the descending of permeability in polymer flooding reservoirs into account, as well as the relationship of viscosity and concentration of the polymer solution,based upon the corrected relative permeability curves, the relationship of the distribution of residual oil and the pore volume of cumulative fluid flow rate was developed.Based on the method above, software has been programmed. Through numerical simulation of BeiErXiDong area, residual oil distribution rules are shown for polymer flooding reservoirs. Through the contrast of the truth of the region, it indicated that the method is practicable and work efficiency and veracity can be improved greatly.
