Quantitative analysis of Chromium and Nickel in electroplate wastewater was established in this paper. The method of oxidation-reduction-neutralization-flocculation-precipitation has been used in the treatment of Chromium and Nickel in electroplate wastewater. The technology of individual discharge and mixed discharge of the two metals has been studied.Quantitative analysis of Chromium and Nickel was conducted by atomic absorbtion spectrometer. Ion exchange resin was used in the separation of Cr(â…¥) and Cr(â…¢). Ultraviolent visible spectrometerwas used in the analysis of Cr(â…¥). The effect of interference between metal inons themselves, reduction agent and pH change during the treatment on the analysis of electroplate wastewater were studied. The individual discharge of Chromium and Nickel were studied. The prime pH was 10.5-11 when the Nickel was treated. The effect of pH during reductiont, pH during flocculation, the amount of flocculant and sedimentation time on the treatment of Chromium was studied. The technology of mixed discharge of the two metals has been optimized. Different concentration of wastewater was treated under different pH. The prime pH was obtained. The concentration of Cr(â…¥), total Chromium and Nickel were less than 0.5mg/L, 1.0mg/L 1.0mg/L after treatment. The quality of treated wastewater accorded with the standard of nation about draining the polluted water. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Electroplate Wastewater, Analysis Method, Atomic Absorbtion Spectrometer, Oxidation-reduction-neutralization-flocculation-precipitation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
