The ionic polyurethane is an amphiphilic block copolymer with hydrophobic soft segments and basic groups on hard segment. Small particle size water borne Polyurethane as well as the water borne Polyurethane /organosilicon microcapsule were synthesized with acyclic-diisocynate IPDI and polydiol. The structure of the cationic extender which was homemade in the lab, was token by 1H-NMR, simultaneously structure and relative molecular weight of polyurethane were token by IR, GPC. The influence of the different molecular weight of polydiol on the relative molecular weight of polyurethane , as well as the relative molecular weight of polyurethane and the stability of polyurethane disperserions were observed, through changing reaction time, component ratio, neutralizing agent, water inlet, and small molecular salt, obtaining optimal synthesis craft and the raw material recipe. In addition , water affinity performance to the polyurethane membrane superficial was also studied,on the basis of different component ratio. In this foundation, waterborne polyurethane/organosilicon microcapsule was synthesized through the physics mixing method, in the same time ,the influence of particle size, stable of the compound dispersing and complex membrane hydrophobic were studied through changing the organosilicon content.Modification cotton was modified separately by the ion polyurethane dispersions and the polyurethane /organosilicon dispersions. Through touching, XPS, SEME, it can conclude two points as follows: firstly, modified cotton feels better; secondly, modified fabric fiber is more compact.
