| Cuprous Oxide is a kind of important inorganic material, which is extensively used in many fields. There are many methods to prepare cuprous oxide now, but it seldom gets cuprous oxide with equirotal grains and stable characterization. There are some reasons. Not only many methods are very complicated in operation, but also we don't catch on all factors that affect the property of cuprous oxide.Cuprous oxide can be prepared from cupric ion and sodium sulfite solution. The raw material, such as cupric nitrate and sodium sulfite, is easy to obtain. The operation is very simple and no special demand on equipment. The sample gotten by this method has no impurity. We use sodium sulfite to react with different cupric salt, to discuss the preparation technology of cuprous oxide. The sample was analyzed and characterized by using Chemistry Analysis, XRD and SEM.The results of single-factor experiment and orthogonal test experiment of nitric solution showed that the optimal experiment conditions to fabricate cuprous oxide were two hours of reaction time and 373K of reaction temperature, the dosage of the sodium nitrate solution was four times as much as the dosage of reactive solution, and the best filling ratio was 0.80, the content was97.97%. The production is purely, amaranth and looks like a cube.Under the solution of chloride, we can't get the pure cuprous oxide. The production is brick red dust and anomalistic bulb. Under the solution of sulphite, we get the pure cuprous oxide. The sample is amaranth dust and octahedron. Under the solution of acetate, the production is purely, amaranth dust and regular bulb. Under the solution of phosphate, two reactants associate to a complex and the reaction stop. We don't get the cuprous oxide from this condition. In different solution of anion, we get different appearance cuprous oxide. So the kind of anion has effect to the property of cuprous oxide. The sample is cube in the solution of nirate; the sample is anomalistic bulb in the solution of chloride; the sample is octahedron in the solution of sulphite. When the solution of acetate joins in the reaction, the sample is always regular bulb. |
