Numerical Simulation On The Flow Pool Of Medium Plate MAG Welding

In the paper, basing on welding heat transfer theory and the thermotics and mechanics equation of medium plate MAG welding, the MAG welding pool of liquid metal flow, and the boundary conditions of welding heat transfer pieces and the joint bound by the rigid role were researched, the thermotics and mechanics equation of medium plate MAG welding model was established. Using ADINA finite element software the Q235 steel medium plate butt to butt joint welding in the paper, the temperature field and thermal cycle of the medium plate welding were simulated that the different positions of the pool and heat-affected zone of the heat cycle, the temperature of pool at the end of each floor rapid decrease of welding, the highest temperature T_m of the heat-affected zone rise layer by layer.under the influence waste heat. The instantaneous stress, strain and deformation of the welding medium plate butt to butt joint welding were simulated that the different positions of the stress and strain and deformation curve of the seam zone and heat-affected zone. The values of the stress, strain and deformation were smaller than those of the usual welding process, under the circumstances of the seam zone and the medium plate subjected to the rigid constraints. The mobile pool forms of the medium plate butt to butt joint welding was simulated, that the pool form of swing welding was wider than the non-swing welding.In the paper, a welding robot MAG welding test system was established, a special welding clamping fixture was designed, and an infrared temperature measurement verification system was established, the simulations of welding temperature field and thermal cycle simulation of the medium plate was certificated to match the reality. The values of the stress, strain and deformation were smaller than those of the usual welding process, under the circumstances of the seam zone and the medium plate subjected to the rigid constraints. A pool visual sensor system was established to certificate the simulations of the forms of welding mobile pool to match the relity.
