Combustible dust explosion is a kind of main accident threatening people's productionand lives. It is necessary to set up the corresponding experimental device and study thecharacteristics of explosion by accurately mastering its explosion theory in order to takeeffectiveprecautionsagainsthazardsresultedfromexplosion.Thedevelopment ofdust explosionat homeand abroad is summarized, andtheprincipleand characteristics of dust explosion theory are discussed. Alot of progress has been made inmany aspects through many years researches on combustible dust explosion, which hasformed a comparatively perfect structure and system of combustible dust explosion theory.However, so far many experimental data is obtained from Hartmann's experimentalequipment system of dust explosion, and very few researches on combustible dust explosionsimulating the horizontal pipeline have been carried out. Therefore a set of experimentalequipments of horizontal pipeline combustible dust explosion is established in the researchcenter. The control system part of the horizontal pipeline combustible dust explosionexperimentdeviceisdesigned,Effortshavebeenmadeinthefollowingaspects:(1) The electric control system part of the experimental equipment is designed andresearched. The electric control part mainly includes the control circuit design of vacuumpump, air compressor and time-lag ignition circuit design, electric control casing. The timelagcircuitdesignisthecoreofthewholecontrol system.Thetimelagprecisionis0.1ms,andthetimelagrangeis0.1ms~9999.9ms. The time lag ignition time can be accurately controlled with the help of theadjustabledialswitch. (2) Provingtrial on electric control part of the system is made. Through this experiment,it is further confirmed that the design of electric control part is reliable, easy-operated andreasonable,whichcanbefurtherusedinotherexperimentsandresearchofdustexplosion.(3) The influences of the time lag ignition time on the maximum explosion pressure andexplosive concentration of aluminum powder explosion are researched, the optimum ignitiontime lag time is established, which can provide the guiding function to the subsequentexperiments.
