In order to improve the service efficiency of iron trough,increase useful time of refractory,guarantee pudding manufacture on the rails,decrease unit consume of refractory,improve the pudding efficience and benefit of blast furnace. In the article,The Al2O3-SiC-C ramming mix was prepared with the high-alumina bauxite as aggregate, white corundum powder, silica carbide, spherical pitch as matrix, heat-hardenable phenolic resin as binder, glycol or glycerol as moisture retention agent, and adding little antioxidant. We have researched the effect of particle size distribution, silica carbide addition, binder addition on normal temperature physics performance,thermol shock resistance,wearing resistance effect of silica powder addition,aluminium powder addition on oxidization resistance, effect of glycol addition and glycerol addition on the retention period and the effect of sol binder on normal temperature physics performance. The results indicated that:(1) When the content of SiC addition was about 15%,the strength of ramming mixes upper and the bulk density was biggish,with increasing of addition of SiC, thermol shock resistance enhanced and Wearing resistance increased,but when the content of SiC was more than 15%,the increasing of thermol shock resistance was not obvious and Wearing resistance decreased.(2) The effect of penolic resin addition on fundamental performance of ramming mixes is studied ,the suitable addition is 5%.(3) The particle size distribution has a great influence on physical performance ,synthesize and analyse the sample performance after drying and burning , the performance is the best when q value is 0.34.(4) With the increase of silica powder addition,aluminium powder addition, the bulk density and the strength of ramming mixes increase more or less.when the addition of silica powder and aluminium powder is 3%,1.5%,the strength,bulk density,Wearing resistance and oxidization resistance is the best.(5) The effect of glycol addition and glycerol addition as moisture retention agent on performance of ramming mixes is studied,when addition of glycol and glycerol is 11.5% and 1.52%,the normal physics performance and moisture retention is the best.(6) Silica sol as a binder is adopted,when the addition is 5%,the normal physics performance is the best ,after burning under 1450℃the bulk density reaches 2.68 g·cm-3.
