In this thesis, we have prepared the new polyoxometalate compound modified electrodes by the method of anode oxidation and sol-gel technique. The modified electrode have been characterized by atomic force microscopy(AFM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),x-ray diffraction(XRD).We also studied the electrochemical properties and catalysis capability of this modified electrode.First, the 1:12 phosphomolybdic were added into the acidic electrolyte, and at the certain potential , we have prepared PMo12-AAO membrane. During the process of the experiment, we chose the experiment condition: the concentration of the 1:12 phosphomolybdic, electrolytic time, the influence of mixing round and so on. In the end , we chose the best condition to prepare the PMo12-AAO membrane.,the surface of this membrane was characterized by AFM,SEM and XRD. We prepared the PMo12-AAO/GC modified electrode by fastening this membrane on to the GC surface,and we used electrochemical method to study the electrochemical properties and catalysis capability of this modified electrode. The experiment result have showed that this modified electrode had better electrochemical properties and catalysis to the catechol (C6H4(OH)2).Second, We used the sol-gel technique, and we have done the crossed experiment with the proportion of the As2W18-Sol materials, we chose the sol-gel group which had good stability,indefectible and undissolution ,as the base of the next step experiment. The obtained As2W18-sol and AAO were modified to the GC surface to prepare the AAO- As2W18-Sol/GC modified electrode. In this paper, we have studied the electrochemical properties and the electrocatalysis capability of this modified electrode. The result of this experiment showed that this modified electrode had better stability and better catalysis to the (C6H4(OH)2).In a whole, these methods could prepare more effective modified electrode. And the experiment methods we offered are more simplicity, the stability and catalysis of the modified electrode are improved. In the future, they will be use widely.
