In China, the water resource is deteriated gradually, and it has greatly decreased the quality of drinking water. The removal of organic micropollutant from drinking water has become a crucial problem in water treatment. Now the conventional water treatment technologies can't satisfy the demand of drinking water quality, thus the AOPs technology has received more attention because of its good water treatment effect. Among these technologies, catalytic ozonization has become the focus due to its advantages of high efficiency and widespread application.This experiment uses ceramic honeycomb—granular activated carbon catalytic ozonation to investigate the following aspects: the removal effect of organic micropollutant in the ground water by catalytic ozonation, the effectiveness of catalytic ozonation as an advanced water treatment techonoly in the filter chamber yielding water, the relationship between oxidant content and hydrogen peroxide dosage.Catalytic ozonation can remove the organic micropollutant in the ground water effective, the best removal rate of chloroform is 54.62%, the adsorption by activated carbon can remove 64.25%, and the total removal rate is 83.78%;the removal rate of carbon tetrachloride, narkosid and tetrachloroethylene is 100%, after the adsorption by activated carbon, the content of thses matter can meet with the national standards. The GC/MS experiment indicates that catalytic ozonation also has good effect in the removal of semi-volatile organics,the removal rates of azotic and heterogeneous ring compound is 92.77%, the removal rates of phthalandione esters are 100%, the removal rate of benzene hydrocarbon is 98.89%, the removal rate of halogenated hydrocarbon is 82.65%, the removal rate of phenols is 29.40%;in the finished water, the content of alkane series matter increase two orders.For the filtered water, the treatment effectiveness of catalytic ozonation performed better than ozonation alone on UV254 removal, the removal rate is about 10%;also performed better on TOC removal and on CHCl3FP reduction, catalytic ozonation can decrease the organic matter load for activated carbon adsorption.Ceramic honeycomb can increase the concentration of dissolved ozone. Activated carbon can accelerate the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and ozone, the high dosage of hydrogen peroxide can decompose more ozone;Specially when the concentration of dissolved ozone is high in the water, catalytic ozonization has high effectivess on overall removal efficiency. When the proportion of concentration between ozone and hydrogen peroxide is about 4:1, after the reaction, the residual concentration of hydrogen peroxide is the least.
