According to the detailed situation of petrochemical plant, in the article it was carried through the quality or quantity forecast and evaluation about the fire risk that educes optimized fire control design project, which not only supplies the plant with the most rational fire control protection, but also reduces the protection cost maximally. While doing with the fire control performance-based analysis and design, the petrochemical plants ought to establish fire control proceed firstly, then analyze and design by performance-based analysis and design method. The fire control performance-based analysis and design method of the petrochemical plant is a new fire control idea, which has important meaning to reinforce the disaster prevention and resistant ability.Comparing BCA to BFSEM project, the paper found out that nowadays it is more scientific and reasonable for Chinese petrochemical plants to adapt Australian BCA project on performance-based fire control analysis and design. It describes the possibility and rationality of fire control performance-based analysis and design of the petrochemical plant in detail.In the end, the article fully demonstrated the application of performance-based fire control design, proved by three classic cases that is the fire prevention design reform of CS2 workshop, performance-based design of petrochemical plant tank area and liquefied gas refueling and gas station etc. The application and development of fire control performance-based design of the petrochemical plant were discussed and assumed as well. |
