With the catalyst of a liquid acid (oil of vitriol), the essential reactions of propionic acid-ethanol system, propionic acid-isopropyl alcohol system under different magnetic induction intensity are investigated in this paper. The results of investigation indicate that the magnetic field influences the essential reactions positively. However, the influence of magnetic field on given system is not simple linearity relationship with the increase in the reaction rate and influence of magnetic field on different system is not consistent. The reaction rate of the propionic acid-ethanol system increases when magnetic induction intensity increases, but the reaction rate of the propionic acid-isopropyl alcohol system exists an optimal value induced by magnetic fields. Besides, the temperature can exert an obvious influence on the reactions. When the temperature increases, the reaction rate increases markedly. The same magnetic induction intensity influences the essential reactions differently along with the temperature movement.Based on experiment data and the nonlinear regression, the equation of calculating the constant of the reaction rate can be obtained that includes the magnetic induction intensity B and reaction temperature T. Because an analysis is made on the results of the regression, the equation turns out to be reliable.In this paper, the mechanism of essential reactions in combination with the influence of magnetic field on the entropy and hydrogen bond of the reaction systems is analyzed systematically, and the magnetization mechanism of magnetic fields upon the reaction is discussed. Considers that magnetic field influences essential reactions through influencing the hydrogen bond in the system and explains the experimental phenomena.
