| This text introduced how to use liquid crystal 3-d director simulator software, educed Voltag-dependent transmittance curve from its calculation result, analysed the difference of the two curves at two different electrode positions,got a conclusion that threshold voltage value become larger at the edge of electrod.The main work of this text lies in dissecting output data structure of the iquid crystal display 3-d director simulator software , writing to connect up properly with the direction exportation of optics through the rate calculation procedure, confirmed the applied characteristics of the software and limit condition.It is not the aim of this text to give a comprehensive report of all modeling techniques and methods.Instead,we hope to enable readers either to write their own simulation programs or to understand what is happening in most of the common software packages.While we have included at least basic instruction of even the most advanced techniques,we have chosen to focus on those methods that are most commonle used and are the easiest to understand.By writing this text and including the proguam ,LC3D,we feel that this will enable researchers to not only understand modeling of liquid crystal director configurations from an academic point of view but also to be able to use and implement these methods. |
