Star-shaped SSBR was designed and prepared by anionic polymerization,where sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(SDBS) /tetrahydrofuran(THF)or SDBS/N,N',N',N",N"-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine(PMDETA) as new duality regulator,SiCl4,SnCl4 or DVB as coupled agent,n-BuLi as initiator and cyclohexane as solvent. And the properties of S-SSBR were studied in detail.The coupling reaction by SnCl4 was investigated and the result indicated that:the coupled effeciency decreased with increasing content of SDBS or PMDETA and vinyl content of active PSBLi;higher the molecular weight,lower the coupiling efficiency;whereas, introduction of Al(Et)3 could improve coupling efficiency evidently, that is,the coupling efficiency could approach to 60%when the vinyl content was 60%.The investigation on properties of S-SSBR prepared in 2L kettle showed that tanδat 0℃can reach 0.57,while the value at 60℃was lower than 0.106.these data meant S-SSBR possessed excellent rolling resistance and high wet-skid.The results of the experiments in 12L kettle indicated that the determined vinyl content was accorded to the design value with SDBS/THF as regulator.And the 1,2-unit content of S-SSBR was lower than the value in 2L kettle with SDBS/PMDETA as regulator.The coupled effrciency could reach 50%.
