The wool fabric raw material has been stepping forward in big strides along the multiplex path. Several kinds of special animal fibers processing factories have mushroomed. Along with the emergence and rapid development of special cultivation industry, other special raising animals' wool textile fibers are also entering people's view. The introduction of special animal fiber has not only made up the wool insufficiency in quantity, opened up the wool spinning fabric application domain, improved the appearance of wool spinning fabric, but also played a vital role in adding to wool spinning fabrics special functions that meet the requirement for modern times. Arctic fox's economic value mainly lies in its fur, used to make high-grade fur. Its fur can make upscale fur coats, fur collars, and fur hats, which are characteristic of warmth, softness, rich ornament and comfort, among others. There are two kinds of hair on its skin, one is needle hair, another is fine hair. Hair of the former is thick, hard, just, straight, and the root thick, sharp and fine while the latter is delicate, soft and warmth-keeping. Based on those mentioned above, we can safely conclude that the fine hair of arctic fox wool is an outstanding row material in textile, but at present research is yet under way. Through the introduction of Chinese wool textile industry, wool spinning raw material, as well as special animal wool textile fiber, this article tries to summarize and narrate the development of Chinese wool spinning raw material towards diversification, and to make an active prediction of application of arctic fox wool in the product processing and development. Using arctic fox wool as a new textile fiber in the wool spinning and weaving processing will be good.This article takes the development of new material in woolen textile as an objective, takes arctic fox wool as the research object, puts the supper fine sheep wool and cashmere as well as Angora rabbit wool into comparison, conducts a comprehensive test and analysis of arctic fox wool by using modern advanced analyzing instrument and technology, including the research in its fineness, length, curl texture. The structure of scale layer,medulla layer,section shape were observed by using scanning electricity mirror and light microscope; microscopic shape was observed by AFM; the density was tested and calculated with the density gradient method; the crystal density of the hair was figured out by using X-ray pattern; composition and element content was tested by amino acid analysis, Infrared spectrum, Laman spectrum, X power spectrum; by the aid of universal tension measuring equipment-Instro5565 the tensile property was tested which includes normal, wet, different temperature heat treatment as well as different density acid and alkali processing treatment; though cylinder-thermal device made by myself, the heat insulating ability was tested; the thermal property got tested and analyzed by TG and DSC; oil content the electronic, hygroscopic quality, frictional property and the felting property, the compression performance, whitness was tested and analyzed. Then the corresponding properties of ultra-fine wool, cashmere and Angora rabbit wool were tested in order to do the contrast analysis.
