Three different kind of amine modified systems has been studied taking PVC as base material .(A): PVC/X amine; (B) PVC/ triethanolamine; (C) PVC/ urea. Accompanied with people of the past used amine material to modify PVC was color reaction, firstly carrying on taking off hydrogen chloride reaction, generating conjugated double bonds, then generated active allyl chloride atoms react with amine material.In view of this, three kind of amines reacted with PVC were realized under the temperature of hydrogen chloride taking off .The influence of modifier for the performance of PVC has been studied through tensile-strength experiment,rheologic experiment,thermogravimetric analysis, thermostability analysis under processing temperature,and the infrared spectrums.the experimental results indicated that tensile-strength of three kind of modified systems compared with unmodified system has rise, after modification, the material is still the pseudoplastic fluid, the modified material and unmodified material both have weaken phenomenon by shearing force, the fluidity of material comes down with increasing modifier adding amounts after modification. In this paper,thermogravimetric curves of material fore and after modification have no difference below decomposition temperature of modified material,the thermogravimetric curves above decomposition temperature show that: thermostability of modified material drops;and thermostability analysis under processing temperature obtains the results that thermostability of modified material rises. The two results are contradict, but it is fact. the processing temperature of PVC is usually below decomposition ,so I consider that the conclusion thermostability analysis under processing temperature obtained has more practical significance.The infrared spectrograms of polyvinyl-chloride/X amine modified system and polyvinyl-chloride/urea modified system appear new peak, by verified, it is the characteristic absorption peak of N+H2, the infrared spectrograms of triethanolamine modified system appear the characteristic absorption peak of hydroxyl. The thesis inferred reaction mechanisms of three kind of modifier reacted with PVC: three kind of modifier react with active chloride atoms on PVC molecular chain ,generating ammonium salt.
