Multiple utilization of cane sugar factories' residual product is relatively at low-level in our country now. Extraction of pigment from molasses alcohol wastewater by ion exchange fiber was studied in this topic, which provides a novel pathway of multiple utilization of residual product from sugar factories.The optimal technology condition of wastewater clarification, fiber decolo -rization and regeneration was investigated, taking molasses alcohol wastewater as raw material. The extracted pigment was also detected, and then the mechanism of ion exchange fiber was initially studied. Specific contents are as follows:1.Studied the effect of quantity of flocculate adding, flocculation system temperature, flocculation system pH value and whisking speed on the treatment of clarifying molasses alcohol wastewater. Then design orthogonal experiment based on single factor experiment, and gets the optimum conditions as follows: quantity of flocculate adding is 0.2mg/100mL, flocculation system temperature is 40℃, flocculation system pH value is 9, and whisking speed is 60r.min-1.2.Studied the effects of the wastewater's flow rate, high-ratio, decolorizing system temperature on the molasses alcohol wastewater's dynamic decolorization. Then design orthogonal experiment on the basis of single factor experiment, and get the optimum conditions for the dynamic decolorization as follows: wastewater's flow rate is 3mL.min-1, high-ratio is 15, flocculation system temperature is 60℃. 3. Studied the effects of regeneration Liquid's amount, flow rate as well as temperature on the fiber regeneration. Then design orthogonal experiment on the basis of single factor experiment, and get the optimum conditions for the fiber regeneration: the flow rate of regeneration liquid is 3mL/min, regeneration temperature is 70℃, the amount of regeneration liquid is 600mL.4.The pigment extracted from molasses alcohol wastewater has Coke flavor. Dilute it with water till it clarifies, then its color resolution is 40790 (EBC unit), red index is 5.3, pH value is 5.2.This pigment has not only the similar functional groups as single time of caramel pigment ,but also carbonyl compounds, with good salt tolerance, poor acid tolerance.5.Based on the delineation of moving-boundary model, the ion exchanging process of ZB-2 polypropylene strong alky ion exchange fiber (IEF) was determined as particle diffusion controlled. The rate constant of the ion-exchanging process can be worked out as 115.45 by the consideration of stirring rate, concentration, temperature, apparent activation energy. The kinetic equation is:1-3(1-F)2/3+2(1-F)=48.16r-2Ci1.2633exp[-19950/RT]×tIt provide a theoretical foundation of further study on extraction of pigment from sugarcane molasses alcohol waster by ion exchange fiber.
