Two kinds of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTILs) ,l-n-butyl-3-methylimid azolium tetrafluoroborate ([bmim]BF4) and 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluoro borate ([bmim]PF6) was synthesized with two steps and was then characterized by element analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13CNMR. The electrochemical window of [bmim]BF4 and [bmim]PF6 was studied by linear sweep voltammetry.The possibility of electrolysis preparation nanosilver by electrochemical sacrificial anode was investigated in three kinds of RTILs systems: [bmim]BF4+AgBF4,[bmim]PF6 +AgBF4 and [emim]BF4+AgBF4. The results indicate that under proper conditions, the nanosilver can be obtained in the three kinds of RTILs systems mentioned above. The effect of the voltage, the concentration of silver tetrafluoroborate et al on the shape of electrolysis products were studied. The electrolysis products were characterized by SEM,TEM,XRD,UV-vis and EDS.The possibility of electrolysis preparation nanogold by electrochemical sacrificial anode was investigated in two kinds of RTILs systems, [bmim]BF4+AuPPh3Cl and [emim]BF4+AuPPh3Cl. The results indicate that under proper conditions, the nanogold can also be obtained in the two kinds of RTILs systems mentioned above. The effect of the voltage, the concentration of gold complex compound et al on the shape of electrolysis products were studied. The Electrolysis products were characterized by SEM, XRD and EDS. Through the research of RTILs in the electrochemical preparation of nanosilver and nanogold. We expect to convert the metal silver, gold directly into nanosilver,nanogold to simplify the process. Experiments show that RTILs were used as solvent and dispersant, electrolyte can be recycled; the use of RTILs accord with the requirement of green chemistry, embody the characterization of "green"and "friendly to environment". So the study of this paper is of certain significance in the area of theory and appliance.
