Scanning electron microscope(SEM),infrared spectra(IR),X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis(TG) were used to observe the surface appearance and secondary structure of the degummed Samia Cynthia ricini silk. The results showed that the degummed Samia Cynthia ricini silk was fibril structure. There were gab and many filoplume in its surface. The secondary structure of degummed Samia Cynthia ricini silk fibroin wasβ-sheet structure andα-helix conformation. The secondary structure of the regenerated Samia Cynthia ricini silk film which prepared at the room temperature was also researched. The results showed that there was mainly silkⅠstructure in the regenerated film.Samia Cynthia ricini silk fibroin was indissolvable in alkali solution and easy to dissolve in a certain concentration of hydrochloric acid, phosphor acid, and sulphuric acid. Silk fibroin was dissolve better in the molten calcium nitrate solution. The concentration of the lithium thiccyanate solution was higher, the dissolve effect was better.The electrospun non-woven web from the regenerated Samia cynthia ricini silk fibroin was electrospunned with 27 parameter. The research results showed that with the increase of the electronspun concentration, the diameters of the non-woven web fibers were fine. The minimum diameters were 50nm. The influence of voltage and collected distance was not obviously to the diameters. The secondary structure of the non-woven web contained considerable silkⅠstructure.Five concentration alcoholic solutions were used to after treatment of the non-woven webs. The results showed that after treatment with 99% alcoholic solution, the morphosis and secondary structure of the non-woven web were not changed obviously. After treatment with 87.5%,75%,99%-75%,87.5%-75% alcoholic solution, surface of the non-woven web fibers were conglutination and had eroded hole. Someα-helix conformation was change toβ-sheet structure. After treatment with pneum-parboil, the non-woven web fibers were conglutination,β-sheet structure was increased and thermostability was strengthen.The water solution losing of the non-woven web without after-treatment was 40% at 37℃. When the concentration of the Spinning solution was 10wt%, the breaking strength of the non-woven web was decreased with the increased of the collected distance or voltage. The tendency of the breaking extensibility was not obviously, but the disparation was large.L929 fibroblast cells were growth at the non-woven web after-treatment with 99% alcoholic solution for 1-6 days. The resulted showed that the L.cell was alive, adhesion and differentiate.
