| The research on C-N cross-coupling reactions was studied in this thesis:1. A simple and efficient procedure has been developed for the synthesis of arylamines. In DMSO, cross-coupling reactions of aryl halides with various amines catalyzed by t-BuOK provide a series of arylamines in the yield of 45-90% at 100°C in 1 h. The reaction appears to proceed through in situ formation of a benzyne intermediate, followed by a C-N cross-coupling to arylamine.2. An efficient copper catalyst system, Cu2O/β-ketoimine L1, has been developed for the cross-coupling reactions of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with aryl iodides or bromides. The system works well with the electron-rich, neutral, and deficient aryl bromides to afford the products in good to excellent yields in the presence of t-BuOK.3. Cu2O lonely is also an efficient catalyst for the cross-coupling reactions of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with aryl bromides in the presence of t-BuOK. The reaction is simple and efficient and operates with ligand free conditions. |
