At present, the measurement of the soil radon concentration as a monitor method has been widely used in the uranium mine and other minerals reconnaissance and structural studies, earthquake forecasting, and geological disasters detection, geotechnical investigation, environmental protection and hydro geological investigation, and other fields. In the last 10 or 20 years, the measurement of soil radon concentration has been used on the whole process of construction. Many countries and regions have conducted systematic research on soil radon which is the major source of environment radon. Compares with it, in China it is really few studies on the change of the measurement of soil radon concentration in the construction project and the relating rules and the special study on the emendation of soil radon concentration. Because of the change of soil radon concentration has significant impact on the indoor radon levels, it is important to study the rules of soil radon concentration and to find a way which could emendate the soil radon more nicety. Through the establishment of the theoretical model of the emendation of soil radon concentration by experiments, then estimate the rules of the soil radon concentration diversification is guiding significance on actual measurement. It is of great significance and practical value for accurate measurement of soil radon concentration level and to detect abnormalities radon.This paper is a part of the project of "The study of Radon Radiation Field and Environmental Effect on the Air-Ground Interface", financed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No: 40374051).This paper has made a detailed analysis and organizing the knowledge of the precipitation and soil radon migration mechanism and relevant factors on the nature, source, hazards and protection of radon. On this basis, we establish the model of the emendation of soil radon concentration. This paper also detailed introduction of the principle and related equipment of the measurement of soil radon concentration and the method of choice. Following this model, we ameliorated the CDI-2000 auto-for-chips manometer and contributed a new measurement way and a new operating instructions. We measure soil radon concentration in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province. We not only verified the theoretical model, but also summed up the emendation on soil radon by remaining gas and the rules of the changes of soil radon concentration impacted on facts.Main research productions: the model of emendation on soil radon concentration has been established by the theoretical analysis and the calculation of actual survey proved that the model is referenced and practicability. On this basis, through the analysis of the experimental data obtains that the soil radon concentration measurement results were negatively correlated with depression, positively correlated with temperature, relative humidity and the relevance of uncertainty, sometimes positive correlation and sometimes negatively correlated relations. The infection of moisture is very big, but it is very complexity by the rainfall and frequency. As a source of interference on the soil radon concentration the impact of microwave is large, but it is mainly need for further research on the causation of it. These analyses may bring more reference for people to accord to the anti-radon, to protect the public health with practical guidance and application value.
