Miyun Reservoir is the only surface drinking water sources in Beijing. About 70 percent of drinking water is from the Miyun Reservoir. Some research for the valley shows that quality of water in the Reservoir has been polluted seriously. There is less point source pollution in the valley. The impact of non-point source water quality is the Non-point source of pollution. Soil erosion, farmland application of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, the loss of livestock and poultry farming are the main form of pollution.In this paper, for the surrounding natural environment and the socio-economic situation of Miyun Reservoir, emplace the environmental testing. According to the ways to monitor the hydrological and soil, investigated water quality and water storage of the Miyun Reservoir, particularly the Tumen Xigou valley in 2007. At the same time, collect the environmental testing data of nearly six years in the Miyun Reservoir. Establish the basal information database of non-point source, which include the remote sensing plans of area, forest distribution network, Soil erosion plans, Annual changes in rainfall, Annual Dynamic changes in soil moisture, the runoff on Slope field, the result of monitoring water quality. Regional infrastructure data include regionalism, water system, landform, the area of valley.The data of Water quality information is the core of this database. Useing the strong space analyses development function of ArcGis, completed the unified interface on Oracle base on SQL language, carry out the data sharing platform.In this database, conducte basis of non-point source, and edit, view, query the pollution factor.Estimate the basis of non-point source pollution related indicators. According to different types of woodland settings runoff plots.Through the monitoring runoff, sediment, water quality, analyse the non-point source pollution characteristics. And analyse the relationship between different types of forest vegetation, surface runoff, sediment,and water quality.
