One of the most important measures for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) disposal is incineration and power generation which shows the great advantage in harmlessness, resource, and reduction of MSW. However, leachate from MSW which is a complex wastewater containing high concentrations of organic and nitrogen result in potential secondly pollution. Presently, leachate from MSW is seldom researched. In order to effectively control this kind of new pollution, leachate from Yuqiao Municipal Solid Waste Incineration (MSWI) was treatment by UASB-Biotrickling Filter (BTF)-Coagulation-flocculation, and pollution removal efficiency, process promotion, and economic benefit were studied, which provide reference for leachate in energy-saving and high efficiency way.Organic loading rates (OLR) and hydraulic retention time (HRt) have an obvious effect on treatment by UASB. The COD removal efficiencies are above 90%, when HRT higher than 1.2d or OLR lower than 16.5kgCOD/(m3·d). The COD removal efficiency is 83% when the highest OLR is 33.4kgCOD/(m3·d) or HRT is 0.6d. Gas production rate reflect the result of the sludge activity, but higher gas production rate trends to effect the stabilization of sludge in the reactor, the highest gas production rate is 7.4L/(L·d). The average removal efficiency of COD and TP is respectively 94% and 75.3%, the average gas production rate is 5.29L/ (L·d), when the OLR and HRT is respectively 13.7kgCOD/ (m3·d) and 1.2d at the temperature of 36℃.Nitrifyling bacteria were restrained by high COD concentration in BTF reactor. When the average influent COD concentration is 2700mg/L, the average COD, NH4+-N and TP removal efficiency is respectively 69%, 85%, and 68.5%, the average effluent concentration of COD, NH4+-N and TP is respectively 800mg/L , 133mg/L and 3.3mg/L. The highest TP removal efficiency is 85.6%, the effluent concentration of TP is only 1.9mg/L.In the coagulation-flocculation process, the treatment effection is obvius better by using combination of coagulants. The COD concentration was reduced from 390mg/L to 250mg/L, when 5g/L cement and 0.25g/L PAC were feed. And the cost of coagulation-flocculation for per ton of leachate is only 1.78Yuan/t. |
