Study On The Function Of Lubricating Bowel And Relieving Constipation And Promoting Lead Discharge Of Kiwi Fruit Juice

This paper has summarized the nutrient contents and health care value of kiwi fruits, studied the processing technology of kiwi fruit juice, analyzed and tested its physical and chemical components, carried out the animal test study on the functions of lubricating intestine and relieving constipation of kiwi fruit juice, respectively carried out the animal test and human body meal test for study on the function of promoting lead discharge of kiwi fruit juice in accordance with Technical Specification on Testing and Evaluation of Health Foods. Study results demonstrate that: kiwi fruit juice can be manufactured through such processes as ripening, juicing, filtering, blending, canning and pasteurizing; its soluble solids is equivalent to or more than 12°Be and total acid is 2.0～2.5g/L (calculated as citric acid); the fruit juice is rich in mineral matters including vitamin C, sodium, calcium, kalium, selenium, and amino acids necessary for human body. The 7d animal test shows that kiwi fruit juice can obviously promote movement of small intestine of constipated mice, shorten the time of the initial defecation and increase the weight of feces, thus this animal test indicates that the kiwi fruit juice has the function of lubricating the bowel and relieving constipation. The 30d animal stomach injection test and 30d human meal test demonstrate that kiwi fruit juice can obviously reduce the content of blood lead and liver lead of mice, conspicuously increase the discharge of lead in urine of grown-ups, therefore, the tests indicate that kiwi fruit juice has the function of promoting the lead discharge and nowadays it is an ideal and safe lead discharge product. Above all, kiwi fruit juice has the functions of promoting the lead discharge, lubricating intestine and relieving constipation. And it can satisfy the consumption requirements of consumers on nutrition,health and safety.
