The kiln inlet is the biggest source of pollution in the new dry process cement clinker production line. There is dispute about using the electrostatic precipitator or the bag filter in the kiln inlet, even bag filter is adopted, there is still dispute about using what kind of bag filter.The mechanism and service condition of the electrostatic precipitator and the bag filter have been analyzed and the research on the investment, power consumption, maintenance and operation cost for 5000t/d new dry process cement clinker production line kiln inlet have been done in the paper. The research shows:When the emission particle density limit is not more than 50mg/Nm~3, the investment and operation costs of the electrostatic precipitator used in the kiln inlet are the lowest. When the emissions particle density limit is not more than 30mg/Nm~3, it is better to use the bag filter in the kiln inlet. When the pulse bag filter is used, the investment of the bag filter with imported membrane bags is about 10% more than that of the filter with domestic membrane bags, and the operating cost is about 12% more than that of the filter with domestic membrane bags. In the same filtering surface, both the investment and the operating cost of the off-line pulse bag filter are 3%-4% more than that of the on-line pulse bag filter.
