The Divisional Evaluation Of Urban Environmental Geology In Zigong City

With the development of economy construction in our country city and the extension of the engineering activity scale, the deteriorate rate and the frequency of the geological hazards tend to accelerate. Therefore, how to evaluate these environmental geological problem and environmental geologic quality of city is important to prove scientific basis to the city planning, construction and management and to guarantee the sustainable development of the city society, economy and environments. In this paper, reasonable discussions have been dug into this research domain.In this paper, we take the environmental geologic in the Zigong urban area as the research objects. On the basis of out-site inspection and detailed analysis of geology data and by using the theoretic approach and technology of urban ecology, environmental geology and environmental geochemistry, the author carries out the comprehensive investigation and assessment, expatiates the city environmental geological setting, geology resources and summaries the environmental geological problems type, scale and distribution characterization in the representative area. And on the above base, by using analytic hierarchy process of system analysis engineering, the author not only evaluated the geology resources distribution characterization, quantity, the condition and potential of the development but also evaluated the environmental geological problems with corresponding method. The environmental geological problems include the geological hazards, water pollution and foundation stability.As showed in the existing data and research results , the geological environment of Zigong City is good as a whole. Zigong city has many kinds of mineral resources. It is affluent in water and tour resource too, climate amenity and sunlight sufficiency and traffic advantage, so it adapts to human habitation and development of city. But with the unreasonable mining exploitation and illogical construct city, it unceasing affects city constructing and development that the main environment geological problem of geology disaster and environment polluting etc. The main environment geological problems are as follow: (1) there are many geology disasters such as collapses and landslides, which are occurred near the axis of Huangjiaoba faultage and Ziliujing anticline, and be prone to be affected obviously by earth crust stability and topographic condition; (2) the rock and soil mass of Zigong is manily on the axis of Ziliujing anticline and south wing of stratum rake vein, they are hazards to city construction, communication and human life; (3) the acid rain in Zigong is serious, the government should take steps and makes feasible methods to control and lessening the jeopardize of acid rain.
