Triazinic herbicides are popular herbicides applied to variety cultures and hayfields to control perennial weeds. Although the extensive use of triazinic herbicides provides unquestionable benefits, their incorrect application may leave harmful residues which involve the possible risk of human health. Their chemical or microbial degradatin may contaminate crops ,soil, wanter and hence enter the human system through direct consumption of the contaminated food or through meat, milk, and other products obtained from animals that feed on this contaminated fodder. Therefore, developing a method for determination of eleven triazine residues in environment is necessary. The aim of this study has been that to develop a multiresidue method for determining herbicides residues in environment that involves a SPE cartridge followed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detector and mass spectrometry (MS). The method provides references for constituting the determination standard of entry-exit inspection and quarantine. The method has very good stabilization, precision and recovery. The calibration graphs have been obtained preparing five level concentrations for each analyte (0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50, 1.00μg/mL). The chromatogram peak-area (y) versus the concentration of the triazinic herbicide (x) were linear over the evenly distributed calibration range. The r~2 values of the calibration curves for each triazinic herbicide were 0.9987 and 0.9999, showing a good linearity for the assay. In the sample pre-treatment, using solid-phase extraction method replace the traditional method of liquid-liquid extraction. Several parameters of SPE and HPLC were investigated, such as the type of sorbent, sample loading flow rate and the wavelength of UV detector. After the method was developed, it was applied to some samples, such as : corn, water, milk, soil and vegetable.
