Masila oil deposit,which is called sandstone reservoir and its main component is feldspatite quartzsiltite, is more and more seriously influenced by sand flow since 1979 because of its high quantity of shale content. This thesis tries to analyze from the factors of geology, production, completion and wok over operations, and the theory of fail in shear and fail intension to explain the reson of sand flow according to the fact of Masila oil deposit. This thesis also buildup six models of sand flow and analyze the difference of them, calculates to explain the reason and certainty of sand flow in this reservoir. Based on laboratory core analysis and sanding simulating experiment, which include reservoir core sample physics property test, flow-drive without water and with water, core sample expand test, stone dissolve and reservoir-simulating test,sum up sanding mechanism and establish a principle of holding up sanding which is combinated with sand protection. Based on these jobs, The thesis tries to find the trueth of sand entry in different reservoir in this oil field and find out some advices of correct technology methods to produce this reservoir.
