Vane Type Bottom-Hole Hydro-Motor: Principle And Design

The feasibility on principle and conformation about a invention patent which is named"vane type bottom-hole motor"have been discussed in this article.In this paper, the developing process and tendency on four bottom-hole motors have been explained in four classes, including electric motor, turbine motor, screw motor and vane type bottom-hole motor. And the analysis has been carried out for the technical characteristic advantages and disadvantages. Thereout, a preliminary research project has been proposed for the new vane type bottom-hole hydro-motor by using the principle of the positive displacement motor.Through the theoretical calculation and structural design, the function of drilling rig used for rotary drilling has been realized. Through the laboratory experiments, the feasibility on principle and conformation about the new vane type bottom-hole motor has been verified. In this paper, three aspects were explored and experimented including working principle of vane type bottom-hole motor, the form and deliver mode of hydrodynamic force and the constitution and control manner of hermetic unit.The experimental data was analyzed, and the principle and conformation of the drilling rig and the hermetic unit and flowing resistance in service were studied and judged. And the further investigations of the vane type bottom-hole motor were suggested fully and reasonably in some aspects such as principle conformation maunfaction experiment and so on.
