Drilling flow is a complicated situation. Drilling fluid can lost to formation among oil and gas of drilling operation. Flow may result in loss of time,fluid and waste of plugging warehouse,so lead to a series of complicated situations or accidents, such as cave-in, sticking,brow out etc. Flow severely affects drilling. So the study and appliance on preventing and plugging flow is an important article in foreign and domestic. The subjects of flow is an objective and subjective factor. The existing of pores and fractures in formation is the first reason of lost circulation and the excessive high density of drilling fluid or measures isn't adapt to real condition will give more opportunity to lost circulation. On terms of preventing lost circulation,the drilling fluid must be in reasonable density and strong inhibition,and the surge pressure must be cut in drilling work. On terms of plugging flow, according to the degree of losing and formation regard,using respected plugging measures will get a expected aim . Based on the geological features in Beisi district,the preventing and plugging flow technology is analyzed by the numbers both mechanical and chemical sides. The drilling fluid has been adjusted,the reasonable flow rate and the density are selected,the physical plugging agents are evaluated,the chemical plugging agents are developed,a whole set of measures for flow-preventing and leakage-plugging is make. The on-site experiments are done and the result is satisfied and lost fluid in here is successfully solved.
