Much attention has been paid to sulfide coordination compounds due to their widespread application in materials, medicine, food and chemical industry. As an important part of these sulfides, derivatives of TTF(tetrathiafulvalene) and organic-inorganic hybrid sulfides are of hot research areas in recent decade years. In introduction, the newest application and development of sulfides were reviewed briefly. Then we review about derivatives of TTFs and organic-inorganic sulfides, respectively.1. Compound 1 was obtained by the reaction of TTF-dicarboxylate salt and magnesium nitrates. The crystal structure of the compound consists of a one-dimensional chain constructed by bridged oxygens of carboxyl, and its properties were also studied.2. A thiostannate compound[Ni(tepa)]2(μ2-Sn2S6)] was solvothermally synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction method. The[Sn2S6]4- anion acts as a bi-dentate bridging ligand connecting two transition metal complex cations by trans terminal S atoms to form neutral centrosymmetric[M(tepa)]2(μ-Sn2S6) moieties.3. We prepared another organic-inorganic compound[Mn(en)3]Se3, it consists of complex[Mn(en)3]2+cations and a discrete Se32- anion. The Mn2+ ion is coordinated by three en ligands to form a distorted octahedron.4. A new compound[Fe(OPPh3)4Cl2][FeCl4], has been synthesized. In the cations[Fe(OPPh3)4Cl2]+, the Fe(Ⅲ) center adopts a slight distorted octahedral geometry comprised of four OPPh3 oxygen atoms and two Cl- ions. In the anions[FeCl4]-, The Fe(Ⅲ) ion has a slightly distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry.
