With the development of science and technology, the requirement ofproducts'miniaturization and precision is more and more. According to presentsituation, each Micro Machining has been widely used. In order to use theiradvantages thoroughly, we put the Micro-EDM, Micro-ECM and Micro-Cuttinginto one platform. So the Numerical Control of Multi-Function MicroMachining tool is proposed. In this way, some different materials can be easilyprocessed.During the designing of the whole platform, we put our effort to designingand researching the EDM tool. In the EDM tool, the mechanical part is consistof standing axis and step motor and piezoelectric ceramic servo system and soon.ThecoreofthesystemisaSCMcontrolledbyPC.We research the most important technology for Micro Machining, themacro-micro composite servo system. In this system, the stepper motor playtherole of macro driving power, the piezoelectric ceramic is play the role of microdriving system. For the EDM, we research the program which can make theelectrode move vibrantly. And the single chip computer is as the microcircuit tocontrol the direct job. Also, for the Micro Milling, we compile the interpolationprogramoftheMicroMillingMachining.An interface on PC is compiled with Visual C++. Using the designed machine tool, some trials are done. In the Micro-EDM experiment, the microhole with 30μm diameter can be gotten. In the Micro-Drilling experiment, themicro hole with 100μm diameter can be gotten.In the Micro-Milling experiment,the micro groove with 150μm diameter can be gotten.
