The main problems causing poor developing effectiveness for super heavy blocks and deep-seated heavy blocks undeveloped, which total 130 Million tons OOIP, are low steam absorptivity, high injecting pressure and poor steam-injecting quality. So, the way of fracturing stimulation by applying horizontal wells was put forward to improve steam absorptivity through huff and puff. By means of numerical simulation and in-house investigation on casing completion process, steam injection process and artificial lift, the following critical technologies for super heavy blocks and deep-seated heavy blocks are then concluded: well completion with 7″casing of TP-110H for super heavy blocks while combined completion with 95/8″+7″casing of TP-110H for deep-seated heavy blocks, steam injecting through 4 1/2″high-vacuum insulated tubular by combination, cementing well with 30% of silica flour mixing in weight, sand control by high pressure gravel infilling and by TSO fracturing for super heavy blocks and fracturing through stage-blocking and sand mixing in steps, steam injecting through insulated tubular with screened liner at bottom and segregated perforating for uniform injecting, artificial lifting by sucker rod pump or injecting-recovering integrated pump, and well-bore wearing prevention techniques matched for deviated wells.
