Since the appearance of compact-spinning, people have been paid more attention to it for the yarn quality being much improved by different compact methods which eliminate the twisting triangular space of the traditional ring spinning. The research of the compact spinning has reached to a certain level abroad, but most of the domestic researches were still staying in a limited scope. So it is essential to attach more importance to it and work for accelerating extension and application of compact-spinning technology.This article analyzes the working principle of compact-spinning technology and structural characteristic of compact-spinning equipment from the limitation of traditional ring spinning, and then classifies and compares the equipments of compact-spinning. On the second, after analyzing on the gathering progress of yarn strip by theories of hydromechanics, we firstly find appropriate draft ratio on the condensing area by comparison between yarns in performance. Thirdly, we explore influencing factors of additional twist of yarns on condensing area through tests and technological analysis on yarn twist in condensing area. And we find relations between influencing factors and different yarns and suitable spinning technological parameters on condensing area through a lot of experiments. At last, after comparing and analyzing on yarn performances, we get the best production processes which provided as science basis for domestic factories. Finally, we design new roller and make revolution on weighting arm. Through experience, we analyze properties in a mathematical way with comparison to former roller and weighting arm. So we can make good products according to request of customers. We come to conclusions through experience above.The draft ratio at condensed zone has effect on yarn of compact spinning. The yarns have good quality with draft ratio between 1.05 and 1.06. The draft ratio and negative pressure have certain influence on additional twist of compact spinning yarns. The draft ratio of yarns with good strength is between 1.05 and 1.06, or yarn quality is down. The relations between negative pressure and additional twist are line. High negative pressure will influence yarn quality, especially high counts yarn. So it is suitable from 3000Pa to 3500Pa. The revolutionary roller and weighting arm is better than former these in strength and eveness, not worse than SKF weighting arm. Also it has some advantages in the domestic revolution of compact spinning.
