Such ligand has big transfiguration ability, so it can construct various, novelsupramolecular structure and open a new field of the supramolecular chemistry.In the work, we reported ten coordination polymers formed by using flexible ligands1,3-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene (btmp) and transition metal cations Cd(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ), Mn(Ⅱ), namely, [Cd(btmp)2(NSC)2]n (1), [Cd(btmp)2Cl2]n (2),{[Cd(btmp)2(H2O)2](BF4)2}n (3), [Cu(btmp)2(NCS)2]n (4), [Cu(betc)0.5(btmp)]n (5),[Cu(btmp)2Cl2]n (6), [Mn(btmp)2(NCS)2]n (7), [Mn(btmp)2Cl2]n (8), [Mn(dca)2(btmp)2(H2O)]n (9), {[Mn(dca)2(btmp)2](btmp)}n (10). The ten compounds have beencharacterized by elemental analysis, IR Spectra, luminescence analyses and X-raycrystallography and their synthesis are also fully described in this thesis.In shows the flexible ligand usually function as bridge to connect two centers andform one-dimensional helix chain, one-dimensional double-stranded chain,two-dimensional network structure to form stable complexes, the flexible ligand maychange itself conformation.
