The study of coordination polymer is a new field for supermolecule chemistry. Coordination polymer constructed from organic ligand and metal ion, which connected by non-carbolic (N, S, O, etc) coordinated bonds and form at least one-dimension network structure. It may be applied in selected catalysis, molecular recognition, reversible exchange of host-guest molecules (ions), super purity separation, biological conductor, etc. In this thesis, some serials of coordination polymers with the ligands containing N, O and S atoms were synthesized and characterized, and their structure and related properties were investigated by means of single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, TG. EA, surface area and porosity analysis, and so on.{[Co(phth)(phen)(H2O)]·(C2H5OH)}n(1) with potassium hydrogen phthalate (KHphth) and 1, 10-phenanthroline(phen) as ligands, Co(Ⅱ) as center ion was synthesized for the first time by the conventionality heat or microwave-assisted heating's solvothermal method. [Zn(N3)2(C12H8-N2)2](2) with sodium azide(NaN3) and 1, 10-phenanthroline(phen) as ligands, Zn(Ⅱ) as center ion was synthesized by the solvothermal method under low temperature. Four coordination polymers with the mixture of organic ligands (triethylene diamine or imidazole) and inorganic ligand SCN- of two series were prepared by the hydrothermal synthesis method, they are [Co(SCN)4(dabco)2](3), [Mn(SCN)4(dabco)2](4), [Cd(imi)2(SCN)2]n(5) and [Ni(imi)2(SCN)2]n(6), and the coordination regularity were studied. All coordination polymers were characterized by IR, TG. EA and single crystal X-ray diffraction.Three complexes consists of terephthalic acid (H2BDC) or 1, 2-dibromoterephthalic acid (H2Br2BDC) and Co(Ⅱ) or Zn(Ⅱ), triethylamine as template were synthesized. The effects of reaction temperature and heat treatment temperature on specific surface area of the complexes were studied and analyzed. Under the suitable reaction conditions of 363 K, 2h, heat treatment temperature was 453 K, the specific surface area of {[Co4(O)(C8H4O4)2·H2O)]·2H2O}n is 196.6m2/g. Under the suitable reaction conditions of 313 K, 2h, heat treatment temperature was 453 K, the specific surface area of {[Co4(O)(C8H2Br2O4)2·H2O]·2H2O}n and {[Zn4(O)(C8H2Br2O4)2·H2O]·2H2O}n are 108.5 m2/g and 267.6 m2/g, respectively. TG curves indicated that they have better thermal stability and can be used under 673 K. They may be used in adsorption field, and so on.The catalytic activities of some coordination polymers in synthesis of DPC from oxidative carbonylation of phenol were investigated. Palladium complex Pd(C2O4)·0.5(C4H8N2) has better catalytic activity in the typical reaction condition, it was synthesized with PdCl2, oxalic acid and piperazine hexahydrate by solvothermal method under low temperature and characterized by IR, EA and TG. Coordination polymer Pd(C2O4)·0.5C4H8N2 was used in synthesis of DPC from oxidative carbonylation of phenol as heterogeneous catalyst. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time on catalytic activity were investigated. Under the suitable reaction conditions of 363 K, 4 h, the yield of DPC was 7.3%, then the yield of DPC was just 6.1% when the PdCl2 as catalyst.
