Chemical prevention effectes on Ampullaria gigas and B.aeruginosa which are in thesame envirenment were studied using two granular pesticides (5% Metarex and 6% Meta). The Ampullaria gigas's chemical prevention poison on the other snail that in the sameenvironment was indicated by means of comparing death rates of two snails at the sametime and in the same pesticide concentration .The results showed that the effects of twogranular pesticides on B.aeruginosa are stronger than on Ampullaria gigas in the sameconcentration and at the same time. It indicated that Ampullaria gigas's chemicalprevention influnced other water organisms and polluted envirenment at some extent. The antimicrobial activities and some immunity enzymes(Phenoloxidase, Lysozymeand Superoxide dismutase) of blood serum from Ampullaria gigas were studied tounderstand Ampullaria gigas's immunity and to offer new source of immunity enzymesand antimicroial substances. The result showed that there are very high antimicrobialactivities and immunity enzyeme activities in Ampullaria gigas. The Ampullaria gigas was extracted with different solvent [cyclohexane, acctone, petroleum ether, ethanol,ethylacetate,methanol:toluene(3:1)]Their crude extracts weretested for activities against Escherichia coli and Staphylococus aereus. The results showedthat the antimicrobial activities of ethyl acetate extract were the strongest. The Ampullaria gigas at different developmental stages and different parts ofAmpullaria gigas were extracted with ethyl acetate. Their crude extracts were tested foractivities against 11 species of bacteria by means of disk agar diffusion method. Then theextracts were purified with silica gel column chromatography and Thi-LayerChromatography. The chemical components of all extracts were determined by GC-MSanalysis.The results showed that the extracts from Ampullaria gigas at differentdevelopmental stages and different parts of Ampullaria gigas have different antimicrobialactivities and different chemical components.
