The wetland is a special natural complex compound and is constituted by thehydrophilous biology and the excessively wet environment. It is located in the biosphere, thehydrosphere, the lithosphere and the aerosphere intersection point and the exchange of eachkind of energy flow and the physical distribution may happen there. It is the importantsurvival environment and the ecosystem on the Earth, it has the stable environment, thespecies gene protection and the resources usage functions, it is called the kidney of the nature,biological gene bank and human cradle.The state-class natural reserve of Shuangtai River is located within the boundaries ofPanjin City Liaoning province, situated in the entrance to the sea on the top of Bohai,Liaoning bay, Shuang Tai river, is the biggest wetland of the whole national natural reserve,whose reed area is the biggest all over the world, protected area covers an area of 128,000hectares. It is now best-preserved, covering an area of maximum, the most entire organism'shabits all the world at present. But nowadays, wetland area falls off exactly gradually due todiversified causes, and artificial destroying has also made certain threats on the wetland.It has a very important significance to carrying out synthetical, quantitative research ofwetland for protecting wetland resource and ecological environment by science way.The main theme of the book expound systematically the method about satellite remotesensing technology applying in investigating weather in wetland resource in a macroscopicview. We have make an analysis on Panjin City wetland status, destroyed degree, producingstructure with remote sensing technique and make an analysis on changing, especially for theanalysis that various satellite imagines about wetland changes. Also, we may have the studieson the area ecological environment, changing wetland and so on, and it can be in progress tothe wet land dynamic monitoring. It has embodied remote sensing technique through thestrong, speedy, accurate characteristic of macroscopic view. It has made a basis about themacroscopic monitoring, analysis and appraisals, exploitation and protection for this areawetland resource in the current situation.
