Study of Schiff-bases containing ferrocenyl and its metal-complexes hasincreased exponentially, mainly due to their applications in a wide variety ofareas, among which those concerning the in catalysis, organic synthesis, newlyliquid crystal materials and biology activities. The experiment detailed in the paper isComposed of three parts:In the first part, the formylferrocene and 2-(diphenylphosphino)aniline wereprepared as raw material, A novel Schiff-bases containing ferrocenyl weresynthesized by condensation of them,we developed single crystal of the ligand. In the second part, metal complexes of platinum and palladium weresynthesized with the ligand and PdCl2, K2PtCl6, and then we developed singlecrystals for two metal complexes. Finally, Acetylferrocene and benzoyferrocene were prepared as raw material, two new Schiff-bases containing ferrocenyl were synthesized with them and2-(diphenylphosphino)aniline.We also carried out to study the influence of differentreation conditions and found the optimal reation conditions.Products in the experiment were characterized by IR,1H-NMR, 31P{1H}NMR, X-ray diffractometer, Target products were confirmed.
