High dielectric constant polymer matrix composites have a significant future in electron and electric industry, so it is important to enhance the dielectric constant.With the development of the technology, the more stricter requirement for capacitor is presented. Security, credibility, light, high capacity is required. PP electrician film is an excellent high frequency dielectric medium material .the main property of pp was listed as following: low dielectric loss, stable dielectric permittivity in frequency conversion field, good damp proof, no absorbing water, cheap. PP has become an important basically medium material .although low dielectric permittivity and difficult to getting high capability capacity has restricted its application.We introduce a new high dielectric permittivity polymer poly (vinylidene fluoride) through mechanical blending to improve the dielectric medium property of PP. the matrix can improve the processing property, because there are no ceramic particle. The study show that compatibilizer(PP-g-MAH) and PVDF can improve the dielectric permittivity of PP. The dielectric permittivity will double with the 10% volume content of PVDF. When the volume content of PVDF is 50%, the dielectric permittivity of the matrix can reach 5.0. To improve the compatibility of two components, we use the compatibilizer (PP-g-MAH).the compatibilizer can effectively improve the dielectric permittivity of matrix. The 15% volume content of compativibilizer is perfect.
